This AAU organization, led by Head Coach TYRELL BIGGS, was designed to capture the most competitive players from the North Jersey and Rockland County, NY area. The GARDEN STATE GRIND is not just a team, but a family. Coach Biggs brings his 11-year professional career experience to each and every practice.
We believe it is the commitment and daily grind that the players put in to better themselves as team players as well as their individual skill sets. The GARDEN STATE GRIND institutes a system for defense and offense that is run with all the teams. This builds a fundamental foundation for the players as they are introduced and grow with the program. The GARDEN STATE GRIND has chosen their home court to be OPEN GYMS in Oakland, NJ. This choice was driven by the ability to coach and teach players via film study, as well as allowing teams to practice and play on a brand new high school regulation-size court. The home-court facility also has a conference room that the athletes can utilize to focus on their school work before or after practice.
If you have the drive, the passion and desire to play for one of the top coaches and AAU organizations in the area…Don’t hesitate, contact us now for tryout information and private training(s) with Head Coach, Tyrell Biggs.
